Kanpur: A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. In Bamburhiya area of ​​Juhi police station area, a young man committed suicide by going live on social media platform Instagram. The people of the locality were shocked to see the young man hanging himself in the live video. By the time the family and neighbors broke the door and reached inside, the young man’s breathing had stopped. The police have started investigating the case by taking possession of the youth’s mobile phone and dead body.

Happiness turns into mourning on the day of Ganga Mela

The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Manish alias Chhotu, who was a loader driver by profession. According to family members, Manish was happily playing colors with the people of the locality the whole day on the occasion of Ganga Mela on Wednesday. No one had any idea that this young man who was laughing and joking would take such a suicidal step in the evening. In the evening he went to the room located on the first floor of his house. The family members thought that he had fallen asleep after getting tired, but the reality was different.

Disputes increased after marriage, alcohol and loneliness became the reason

There were many ups and downs in Manish’s life for the last few years. About 8 years ago, he was married to a woman named Mahi and they also have a son ‘Puchchu’. However, after two years of marriage, the bitterness between the two increased so much that the matter reached the police station. After the agreement, the wife started living separately with the son. Separation from his wife and innocent son had mentally broken Manish. He often remained silent and to overcome this loneliness, he became addicted to alcohol.

The people of the neighborhood ran after seeing the live video, but it was too late

Late in the evening Manish came live on Instagram and prepared the noose. As soon as the youth of the locality saw this dreadful live on her account, they ran towards her house screaming. As soon as the family members got the news, there was hue and cry in the house. The door of the room was locked from inside, which was broken after a lot of effort. Manish was found hanging from the fan inside. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police is investigating Instagram Live

Juhi Inspector Krishna Kumar Patel said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. Police have seized Manish’s smartphone and the Instagram live video is being thoroughly investigated to ascertain the exact reason behind the suicide and his mental state at that time. The police are also looking into whether anyone provoked him or made any other comment during the live.
