Let us tell you, on this a lawyer named Wajid Khan Bidkar filed a complaint against Hardik Pandya. Wajid Khan says that it is the responsibility of every Indian citizen to maintain the dignity of the national flag and there is a law for this. He has complained in this matter citing Section 2 of the National Flag Act of 1971, which states that it is mandatory to respect the tricolor.

While talking to the media, Wajid Khan said, “Hardik Pandya had the tricolor draped over his shoulder while celebrating and was lying on the stage with his girlfriend. This is an insult to the national flag.” He said that the tricolor is the symbol of the entire country, and its dignity cannot be violated anywhere, so he lodged a complaint at Shivaji Nagar police station. The police initially said that the incident took place in Ahmedabad, but the lawyer considered it to be a matter to the national flag and got the complaint accepted here too.

The police accepted the complaint and gave its copy to the lawyer, now the police will take further action on this matter.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya described the T20 World Cup win as the fulfillment of his personal resolve. “This is just the beginning, and our team is ready to win more trophies,” Pandya said. He described this victory as part of his promise that he had made the 2024 Barbados tournament.
