Javon Searles Match Fixing: West Indies cricket has once again been tainted with fixing. Its fast bowler Javon Searles has been found guilty of match fixing. The ICC has found this player guilty of violating the anti-corruption code. This player participated in the Bim10 League held in the year 2023-24, this tournament was held in Barbados where he carried out match fixing. Apart from Jevon Searles, two officials of his team have also been found guilty of match fixing and they have also been suspended.
According to the release issued by the ICC, apart from Javon Searles, his team officials Chittaranjan Rathore and Trayvon Griffith have been found guilty of violating the Anti-Corruption Code in several cases. Javon Searles has been found guilty of four counts of violation. Let us tell you that earlier Caribbean player Aaron Jones was also found guilty of match fixing.

Searles did not inform his board about the offers he received for match fixing. He obstructed the Anti Corruption Unit's investigation into possible corruption cases. He hid important information in the investigation. Let us tell you that Searles has been given 14 days to reply and he will remain banned till he does not reply. If he did not respond, he might never be able to step on the cricket field.
