Work to arbitration, taxation and corporate law will be fast and transparent.

Lucknow. In a significant achievement for India’s technology sector, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh-born AI entrepreneur Dr. Nirmal Singh has launched India’s first AI-based legal intelligence platform ‘CognexiaAI Legal’ through his company CognexiaAI. Along with this, the company has also informed about getting enterprise contracts worth about Rs 540 crore in Australia and New Zealand. The platform was unveiled at an event held in Mumbai, which was attended by policy-makers, legal experts and industry representatives. Former Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi was present as the chief guest in the program.

According to the company, CognexiaAI Legal has been designed keeping in mind the justice system and legal needs of India. This platform can help in making the work to arbitration, regulatory compliance, corporate law, taxation, HR compliance and judicial processes faster, easier and more transparent. It uses modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLM), digital workflow automation and data analytics. This initiative is also considered important for Uttar Pradesh, because this technological platform developed by an entrepreneur from a city like Jaunpur reflects the growing digital and AI capabilities of the country.

During the launch, Dr. Nirmal Singh said that India should not only become a country that uses global technology, but also a country that creates new technology and gives it to the world. He said that through Cognexia AI Legal, work is being done to move beyond Artificial Intelligence towards “Legal Intelligence” so that systems can be developed that better understand the complexities of Indian law. With this launch the company has also got huge success at the international level. CognexiaAI has received enterprise contracts worth Rs 540 crore in Australia and New Zealand, which is considered to be the biggest overseas achievement for an Indian AI-based ERP and CRM platform in recent times. These contracts are to many sectors like construction, hospitality, manufacturing, automobile service, travel-tourism, architecture, jewelery and healthcare.

The company claims that many international companies have adopted CognexiaAI’s AI-based systems, abandoning the global ERP and CRM platforms they were using earlier, because it offers features like faster deployment, predictive analytics and real-time optimization. After these new agreements, the number of global customers of CognexiaAI has reached about 15 thousand organizations. The company has over 500 international channel partners and operates in countries including Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Singapore, United Kingdom, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, France, Nigeria and Ghana.

Experts believe that this achievement is indicative of a major change in India’s technology sector, where the country is no longer just a hub providing IT services, but is developing its own AI platforms and technologies. This achievement has special significance for Uttar Pradesh also. Coming out of a tier-2 city like Jaunpur, Dr. Nirmal Singh’s technological leadership at the global level shows that even the talent from small towns is now creating India’s international technology identity.
