Suryakumar Yadav and his wife, Devisha Shetty, recreated a photo from 2024, where they could be seen lying on the bed with the T20 World Cup trophy placed in the middle.
When India won the T20 World Cup for the second time, back in 2024, Devisha posted the heartwarming picture with a caption: "It's going to be a good nights sleep." After almost two years, Suryakumar posted a similar picture, this time with the caption: "Déjà vu."

Back in 2024, Suryakumar took a spectacular catch in the last over of the final in Barbados to dismiss the dangerous David Miller. In 2026, he led the Men in Blue as they became the first team to win the T20 World Cup on three occasions. India also became the first team to win back-to-back editions of the tournament. Also, India are the first-ever host team to go the distance in the T20 World Cup.
During the tournament, India looked in red-hot form, and their only defeat came against South Africa in the Super 8 stage. The Men in Blue won the coveted title after beating New Zealand in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, March 8.
After being asked to bat first, India put on a massive total of 255/5 on a belter of a surface at the colossal stadium. Sanju Samson top-scored with a 46-ball 89, while Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan registered quickfire half-centuries. Shivam Dube also played a crucial cameo down the order to help India get to a mammoth score.
In reply, New Zealand couldn't match the power hitting from the Indian batters. Jasprit Bumrah was also in prime form as he registered a stunning four-for. The Kiwis were bowled out for 159, losing the lopsided clash by 96 runs.
