T20 World Cup 2026 has now reached its final peak. The final match between India and New Zealand will be played on March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where not only the trophy but also huge prize money worth crores of rupees is at stake. In the last 9 T20 World Cup editions, the highest prize money was distributed in the 2024 tournament, where the total pool was $11.25 million (approximately Rs 103 crore). In that, champion team India got 2.45 million dollars. Whereas the runner-up was given $1.28 million. (Photo Credit- PTI)
ICC has not yet made any announcement for the prize money of T20 World Cup 2026.
