T20WC 2026 ENG vs IND Playing 11: Harry Brook-led England will square off against Suryakumar Yadav-led India in the 2nd semifinals of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on March 04 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Both sides are not at its top form and will be aiming to give their best during the clash. The winner of this game will be the second finalist of the T20 World Cup 2026 and will be facing New Zealand on Summit clash.

England and India have faced each other on 29 occasions in the T20 format, where the Men in Blues have 17 wins, while the Three Lions have 12 wins.

Coming to the T20 World Cup clash, India emerged as winners on three occasions while England has won twice. England won the toss and opted to bat.

Speaking on the toss, Harry Brook said, “We’re going to have a bowl. Looks like a good wicket, hopefully we can get off to a good start with the ball. They’ve obviously got a lot more experience on this ground than us. T20 cricket is such a fickle game; you never know what’s going to happen. Hopefully, we can keep them quiet.”

On the other hand, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav said, “We were looking to bat first. Semifinal, big game, and there’s wind around too. Don’t think there will be much dew. Looks like a good one (the pitch). The best one. Credit to all the curators and groundsmen”

While speaking about today’s Indian cricket playing 11, Suryakumar Yadav said, “Same Team.”
