Brian Bennett has established himself as one of the finest fielders in the tournament. After pulling off a few stunning grabs in the group stage, he carried that momentum into the Super Eight clash against West Indies in Mumbai.
During the final over of the powerplay, bowled by Brad Evans, Shai Hope attempted to accelerate with a slog across the line to a pace-off delivery. The ball skewed high and wide towards deep mid-wicket. Bennett sprinted across to his left, covered significant ground, and then launched into a full-length dive to complete a sensational catch. The dismissal halted West Indies’ early momentum and showcased Bennett’s remarkable athleticism.

Glenn Phillips is widely regarded as one of the safest pairs of hands in world cricket, and he lived up to that reputation against England in Colombo.
In the ninth over, bowled by Rachin Ravindra, Jacob Bethell pulled a flat delivery powerfully towards deep mid-wicket. Phillips reacted instantly, diving forward with both hands inches above the turf to complete a stunning low catch. He rolled over to ensure control and never looked in doubt. The effort was brilliant but the game did not change the course towards the Black Caps’ side and eventually lost the game against England. Ryan Burl vs South Africa, Delhi

Ryan Burl produced a moment of brilliance against South Africa at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Wicketkeeper-batter Ryan Rickelton faced a short ball from Brad Evans and mistimed his pull shot, sending the ball high towards long-on. Burl initially misjudged the trajectory but quickly recovered, backtracked rapidly, and leapt acrobatically to take a superb backward-running catch. His composure in the middle ensured Rickelton’s dismissal for 31, shifting momentum at a crucial stage.
