First day-night match of T20 WC 2026 at Eden Gardens

This is the first time in the T20 World Cup 2026 that Team India will be seen playing at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Whereas for the West Indies team, this will be their fourth match in the current World Cup at Eden Gardens.

Earlier, West Indies had won all the three matches played at Eden Gardens. The match between India and West Indies is the first day-night match being held at Eden Gardens in the T20 World Cup 2026.
