In the 59th match of IPL 2024, Gujarat Titans defeated Chennai Super Kings by 35 runs on the basis of centuries by captain Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and brilliant bowling by Mohit Sharma. With this victory, Gujarat has kept its hopes of reaching the playoffs alive. In this match, Gujarat played Sandeep Warrier as impact player in place of Sai and Chennai played Ajinkya Rahane in place of Tushar Deshpande.
