T20WC 2026 ZIM vs SA Playing 11: Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe will square off against Aiden Markram-led South Africa in the 51st match of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on March 01 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
South Africa has qualified for the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup campaign and will be aiming for a win to finish the Super 8s stages on a positive note.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe has been knocked out of the tournament after a defeat against West Indies and India. They will be aiming for a win to make a positive note.
Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bat. Speaking on the toss, Sikandar Raza said, “We are going to have a bat first. The reason being it is a day game. Unfortunately, with the injuries, we have gone with the combination that suits our bowling line-up today.”
Richard Ngarava misses out. There is a lower back issue with him and we can’t risk it. Apart from that Tashinga Musekiwa has done his ankle and we cannot risk that either
On the other hand, Aiden Markram said, “We would have batted first as well. The wicket looks pretty good. Been happy to chase so far in the competition, and that is what we thought about it would be nice exercise to bat first.”
While speaking about today South Africa Cricket Team playing 11, Markram said, “We have three changes. Kwena Maphaka, Anrich Nortje and George Linde come in.”
