Young Indian cricketer Angkrish Raghuvanshi has talked about taking inspiration from the batting approach and temperament of Test and ODI cricket captain Shubman Gill. Raghuvanshi, 21, described Gill as “one of the best players in the world” and said he wants to improve his game like him.

Whereas, Gill, who entered international cricket in January 2019, has so far scored 6665 runs in 137 matches, which includes 19 centuries and 28 half-centuries. His batting average is 44.43. Gill’s peaceful batting and determination to score runs has become a role model for Raghuvanshi.
