The father of Rinku Singh, a young promising player of the Indian team, has said goodbye to the world. It is being told that Rinku Singh’s father Khanchandra Singh breathed his last at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida late on Thursday night.

The health of Khanchandra, father of Rinku Singh, who is playing the role of finisher for Team India, was continuously deteriorating for the last few months. According to the doctors, he was suffering from stage-4 liver cancer. For this reason, he was on mechanical ventilator support in Yatharth Hospital and he was being given continuous renal replacement therapy.

After the Super-8 match against South Africa, Rinku Singh immediately left Team India and reached his father after getting the news of his father’s health becoming serious. Although he rejoined Team India before the match against Zimbabwe on 26 February, he did not participate in the practice session in Chennai.
