The brutality of Akshat Pratap Singh, the accused son of murdering his father and cutting his body into pieces, can be gauged from the fact that after the murder, he was sitting near his father’s dead body and eating non-veg comfortably. Police investigation has revealed that the root of this heinous incident was Manvendra Singh’s plan to get married for the second time.

Discussion of second marriage became the cause of death

According to police sources, Manvendra Singh was considering remarrying after the death of his wife and it was also being discussed at home. Akshat feared that after his father’s second marriage, his property and importance in the family would diminish. This controversy arising out of his father’s new marriage filled Akshat’s mind with so much hatred that he decided to remove his own father from the way.

Cruelty to the dead body and horrific mentality of the accused

The most disturbing thing about the police interrogation was Akshat’s mental condition. After committing the murder, when his father’s dead body was lying in the house, Akshat ordered non-veg from the market and ate it while sitting near the dead body. After this he cut the father’s body into pieces with a saw and filled them in a blue plastic drum. He was also planning to melt the body with acid so that no evidence could survive.

Doubts deepen on sister’s role in the conspiracy

In this entire case, the role of Kriti, the daughter of the deceased and sister of the accused, has also confused the police. The surprising thing is that the father had been murdered in the house, the brother was cutting the dead body into pieces, but Kriti continued going to college as usual to appear for her examinations. The police is now investigating whether she remained silent due to fear of her brother or whether she too had tacit consent in this bloody conspiracy.

Attempt to mislead aunt and relatives

Akshat was not only cruel but also vicious. After the murder of his father, he was behaving normally with his younger siblings. He was in constant touch with his aunt and was also meeting her so that no one got suspicious. She deliberately kept everyone away from the room where she had hidden the pieces of her father’s body in a blue drum.

Police still have many unresolved questions

Although the police have arrested the accused Akshat Pratap and recovered the weapon and drum used in the murder, the mystery of the case has not been completely solved yet. The police is trying to find out whether any outsider had helped Akshat in this murder? Besides, contradictions in the statements of other members of the house are also being investigated.
