During the second match of the ODI series between the women's teams of West Indies and Sri Lanka, something happened on the field, after which questions were raised on the decision given by the umpire.

Umpire gave Deandra out for obstructing the field

Actually, umpire Jacqueline Williams had dismissed West Indies batsman Deandra Dottin for hitting the ball with the bat. It is not wrong for a batsman to do this. But, the way Deandra Dottin hit the ball, the umpire considered it obstructing the field.

The incident of Diandra Dottin being given obstructing the field in the second ODI against Sri Lanka women's team happened in the 30th over of West Indies' innings.
