Gujarat Titans defeated Chennai Super Kings by 35 runs in the Indian Premier League 2024. With this loss, CSK have fallen behind in the playoff race. Chasing 232 runs, Chennai were in the game till Daryl Mitchell (63) and Moeen Ali (56) were at the crease. However, the team couldn’t recover and managed 196/8 runs in 20 overs. Mohit Sharma took three wickets for the Titans.
Earlier, CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and invited Gujarat to bat first. Shubman Gill (104) and Sai Sudharsan (103) slammed hundred to take the score to 231/3 in 20 overs.
