Ranji Trophy 2025-26: Jammu and Kashmir cricket team has added a golden chapter in the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season. They have made it to the Ranji Trophy final for the first time by defeating two-time champion Bengal by 6 wickets in the semi-finals. This match was played at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground, where after falling behind in the first innings, the Jammu and Kashmir team made a wonderful comeback and won the match. In this match, fast bowler Aaqib Nabi was the hero of Jammu and Kashmir's victory.

Abdul Samad led the team to victory by playing a quick inning of 30 runs in 27 balls. Aaqib Nabi was the star in this entire match. He took a total of 9 wickets in the match and also contributed with the bat.
