Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid: A big honor has been announced for two great Indian cricketers Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid. These legends are counted among the most successful players of India. Anil Kumble is India's highest wicket taker in Test and ODI. At the same time, Rahul Dravid is the second highest run scorer in Test. Both have been former Indian captains and have played an important role in taking Indian cricket to new heights. Now stands are going to be built in his name in a big stadium in India.
Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has decided to name two stands at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru after Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid. The honor has been taken under the leadership of KSCA President Venkatesh Prasad, which has been given on the occasion of completion of 50 years of the stadium. Apart from this, a stand has also been dedicated in the name of former Indian women's team captain Shanta Rangaswami.
Anil Kumble said in the media release that this honor is very special. He said that the contribution of all of us has given shape to Karnataka cricket, Karnataka cricket has made us. It is not important to have this name on any one stand, but to have all the contributions recognized and to be engraved forever on the stadium is really special. Kumble also expressed happiness over the honor of Rahul Dravid and Shanta Rangaswami. He said that it feels great to honor Rahul Dravid and Shantha Rangaswamy in this way. He also congratulated all the former players and stalwarts of KSCA, whose names are on the stands.

Kumble and Dravid have spent many memorable moments at Chinnaswamy Stadium from their initial days till the international level. Rahul Dravid also expressed happiness on this honor and he also looked emotional. Dravid also called this stadium his second home.
