What did Faf du Plessis say after winning the match?
After registering a big win by 60 runs against Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis said during the post match presentation,
“It was a very good match. After losing the toss we scored 240 (241) runs. Our approach and aggression is good to see. We had some good conversations about making the same mistakes over and over again. Our way and perspective of looking at the game has changed. Batting with aggression is also one of them.”
“With the ball we were not taking enough wickets in the powerplay, so we talked about that as well. We were looking for some players who were in form. There were some players who were struggling to take run-scoring wickets. You have to fight for it and find your own way. If we look at it now, some people are in really good form. “We want to stick to this style of what we want to do, if we do that then we will prove that we are a really good team.”
