This is a joke but Surya had saved Team India in his very first match in the T20 World Cup. The Indian team had lost four wickets in the powerplay itself and the score was only 46 runs. It was Surya who took charge of the team in times of trouble. The Indian captain played an unbeaten inning of 84 runs in 49 balls, on the basis of which India scored 161 runs. In reply, America's team could score only 132 runs and India won the match by 29 runs. The best bowling for India was done by Siraj, who took 3 wickets for 29 runs. Arshdeep Singh got 2 wickets. Akshar Patel also took 2 wickets. Varun Chakraborty took one wicket.
