Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Punjab Kings by 60 runs today (May 9) in a do-or-die match. This is RCB's fourth win in a row. Playing first at Dharamshala, Bangalore scored a huge score of 241 runs.
In reply, Punjab were bundled out for 181 runs in 17 overs. With this, Punjab is out of the playoff race. For RCB, Virat Kohli opened the scoring with a blistering 92 runs, followed by a storming performance from the bowlers. Mohammad Siraj took the most 3 wickets. Lockie Ferguson, Swapnil Singh and Karn Sharma took 2 wickets each.
After this win, RCB has kept their playoff hopes alive. Now Royal Challengers Bangalore have 10 points from 12 matches.
