IND VS NAM: Big allegation from Namibian captain (PC-PTI)

India vs Namibia: India and Namibia are to compete in the 18th match of T20 World Cup 2026. A big controversy has come to light before this match. Actually, Namibian captain Gerhard Erasmus has asked the ICC a question which is quite interesting. Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus has questioned the ICC as to why they were not given a single night practice session before the match against India. Erasmus seemed upset that India were given two practice sessions under floodlights and Namibia practiced only during the day.

India benefits, Namibia cheats?

Erasmus has raised the question of giving benefit to India from ICC. He said, 'Why were we not given any practice session under flood lights before this match? I don't know the reason for this. I believe that India has been given two night sessions. You can make whatever meaning out of it.

Players are not able to play night matches in Namibia

You will be surprised to know that Namibian players are not able to play cricket at night in their country. The main reason for this is that there are no floodlights in any stadium in Namibia. This means that Namibian players do not have experience of day-night matches, so it will be more difficult for these players to play at night in India. Namibian players are able to play matches only in the morning or during the day and now they are not even given a chance to practice under lights.

Namibia's spirits high

However, despite all these things, Namibia's spirits are high. The Namibian captain has said that his team will fight with full strength in this match. Namibian all-rounder John Eaton said that there will be pressure on India in this match because they are playing at home. Namibia has nothing to lose. Lofty Eaton said before the match, 'Playing in India is a big deal and the pressure will be on India. But there will also be the advantage of playing on one's own ground in front of the home crowd. We have nothing to lose. We will play to show our talent and strength.
