India are the favourites to win the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. They are looking to create history by becoming the first nation to win back-to-back T20 World Cup titles. If the Men in Blue eventually lift the trophy, they will become the first team to clinch it thrice. They are currently tied with England and the West Indies with two titles apiece.

Since their T20 World Cup triumph in 2024, India have not lost a series in the shortest format. The combination of head coach Gautam Gambhir and skipper Suryakumar Yadav has taken the team to great heights. The Asian giants started their T20 World Cup 2026 campaign with a 29-run win against the USA.

Ahead of India's upcoming clash against Namibia on Thursday, February 12, let's take a look at three batters with the highest T20I strike rates since the 2024 World Cup.

Top 3 Indian batters with highest T20I strike rates since 2024 World Cup (min. 200 runs) 3. Shivam Dube

Shivam Dube was also a part of the Indian team which won the T20 World Cup in 2024. However, there was nothing to write home about as far as his performances were concerned. The Mumbai all-rounder, however, has produced some match-winning contributions with bat and ball ever since Gambhir took charge.

Dube has played 19 T20I innings since the last T20 World Cup and scored 347 runs at an average of 24.78. While these numbers are decent, what stands out is his exceptional strike rate of 174.37. He will look to play a key role for India with the bat and ball in the ongoing tournament.

2. Abhishek Sharma Abhishek Sharma (Source: BCCI)

Abhishek Sharma has been the most consistent and talked-about player in India's T20I team ever since he smashed a blistering century against Zimbabwe in his second appearance for the national team in July 2024. His growth has been surreal, as he is the No. 1-ranked batter in the shortest format.

In 39 T20Is, Abhishek has amassed 1297 runs at an average of 36.03 and a strike rate of 194.96. He has already notched up eight half-centuries and two centuries in his international career. The 25-year-old started his T20 World Cup 2026 campaign with a golden duck against the USA but will look to bounce back strongly in the matches to come.

Ishan Kishan was a part of the Indian team during the 2021 T20 World Cup. After missing the last two editions, the 27-year-old is back in the side and has become the first-choice wicketkeeper for the Men in Blue following his scintillating performances against New Zealand last month.

In just five innings, Kishan has scored 235 runs at an average of 47 and a strike rate of 215.59. This includes a mind-boggling century in the fifth T20I against New Zealand at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on January 31. Indian fans will want him to fire at the top of the order alongside the in-form Abhishek Sharma.
