For this, DY Patil Stadium was his first choice. But without getting NOC from Mumbai Indians, it is not possible for RCB to play its home matches there. When RCB talked to Mumbai Indians regarding making DY Patil their home ground, the reply received from them said that first explore other options available in the country and then think of DY Patil. It is clear that Mumbai Indians are in no mood to give their home ground to RCB.

MI is in no mood to give DY Patil Stadium to RCB

RCB should first look at other venues as options and then focus on DY Patil. There are many non-IPL centers in the country. Apart from this, there are also centers like Rajkot, Pune, Raipur, Vizag, Indore, where IPL matches are played. If Mumbai Indians say yes to RCB for DY Patil today, then tomorrow some other team will come and express their desire to play at Brabourne Stadium.

No DY Patil, now Raipur and Indore are options

Talks continue on holding the match in Bengaluru

There was a stampede in Bengaluru during the victory procession held on June 4 after RCB won the IPL 2025 title, in which many people were injured and some lost their lives. After that accident, the Karnataka government decided to ban organizing cricket matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

However, RCB's efforts to hold the match in Bengaluru are ongoing. RCB also met the Home Minister of Karnataka regarding this. Positive signals have been received in the meeting but the search for other options for RCB is also going on. It is also important for RCB to end the search for a new home venue because the schedule of IPL matches is also to be released.
