After spending almost 15 years in the film and television industry, actor Rohit Mehta has entered a new and exciting phase of his career in the fast-growing world of vertical series. With his impressive work including commercial advertisements, print campaigns, films, television serials and web series, Rohit believes that this new format has fueled his passion for acting more than ever.

Talking about his journey, Rohit says that the vertical series has given him what he was looking for in other platforms for a long time. He explains, “This is the time when I am really enjoying my acting career. Even on television or web platforms, I did not always get stories that felt completely filmy. But apart from films, vertical series is the only platform where you truly feel like a hero and enjoy every moment of work.”

Talking about his early days in the industry, Rohit speaks with refreshing honesty. He says, “To be honest, when I came into this industry, I too came like a common man. It was only after seeing a hero that I joined the industry and started working.” Like many aspiring actors, he started his career in commercial advertisements and print media, always dreaming of doing films in the lead role.

He feels that that dream is finally coming true today. Rohit explains, “I never got a chance to play a lead role in films, but today it feels as if my dream of becoming a hero is coming true. The stories of vertical series are no less than films. They are full of drama, suspense and action – and I am enjoying doing them very much.”

Rohit already has two vertical series released in his name. His series Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya is streaming on Quict Tv app, while OMG Mera Baap To Big Shot Nikla is available on Vahaflix OTT. Apart from this, he is currently shooting for Kuku Tv’s upcoming vertical series Kabadiwala, which is expected to release soon. Several more projects are already lined up, making this period one of his busiest yet.
