Immediately after this, Muhammad Wasim completed his half-century in 37 balls. In the 15th to 17th overs, UAE batsmen could score only 10 runs and lost 2 wickets.

But in the 18th over, Glenn Phillips was targeted by the UAE batsmen and he bowled heavily in this over and scored 27 runs. UAE once again looked headed towards a big score after crossing 150 in this over. In the end, again amidst some good bowling, UAE scored 173 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Muhammad Wasim scored unbeaten 66 runs in 45 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. For New Zealand, Matt Henry took 2 wickets, while Duffy, Santner, Ferguson and Phillips got 1-1 success. New Zealand has to score 174 runs to win.
