Lucknow . The session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly has started from Monday with the address of Governor Anandiben Patel. This session will continue till 20th February. Before the start of the Assembly session, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the journalists, said that our government will present the Economic Survey in the Assembly for the first time. The Chief Minister said that this is our tenth budget. It is important from this point of view also. The budget for session 2026-27 will be presented on February 11.

Chief Minister Yogi advised to avoid unnecessary noise and said that try to solve the problem through dialogue. The government is ready to discuss every problem. Ready to take suggestions from members.

He said that the Legislature is an important pillar of democracy. It works through dialogue, not by disrupting proceedings. If members disrupt the proceedings, they will dilute the issues. Records of proceedings have been set in the UP Legislature in the last nine years. This budget session will further accelerate the pace of development.

Before the session began, Samajwadi Party members demonstrated in front of the statue of Chaudhary Charan Singh installed in the assembly premises, while SP members carried the photo of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar. SP members were protesting regarding codeine cough syrup and farmers’ issues. Even during the Governor’s address in the House, SP members raised slogans in the House.

The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature began with the national anthem at 11 am on Monday. After this the address of Governor Anandi Ben Patel started. Addressing the members of both the Houses in the Assembly, the Governor enumerated the achievements of the government. During this, members of Samajwadi Party (SP) protested. SP members raised slogans of ‘Go back Governor’ in the House. Raised anti-government slogans. On the other hand, the Governor continued his speech. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and members of the ruling party and opposition were present in the House.

Chief Minister Yogi inaugurated the health camp to be run during the budget session.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the health camp at Vidhan Bhavan before the beginning of the budget session on Monday. This camp has been organized for the members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council. In this, health check-up is being done by the doctors of KGMU. On the occasion of the inauguration of the camp, the health of the Assembly Speaker, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers and public representatives was also tested.

The Chief Minister said that this camp has been organized by the Health and Medical Education Department for the health check-up of all the members of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature during the budget session. This camp will also be for the convenience of honorable members and others. The Chief Minister said that a healthy lifestyle should be the right of every citizen. The government is also working on this with full commitment. The CM advised the members to pay special attention to health despite all the ups and downs. He said that every member should remain stress-free and maintain a daily routine in a free environment, this will keep the disease away.

CM said that every person’s words are important. If a leader talks about development, doctors, health or any subject in which he is an expert, it will have an impact on the common people. CM appealed to all the members to take advantage of this facility.

Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak expressed his gratitude to everyone. During the inauguration of the health camp, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, Legislative Council Chairman Kunwar Manvendra Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna, Swatantra Dev Singh, Rakesh Sachan, Horticulture Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh, Minister of State Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Baldev Singh Aulakh, KGMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Sonia Nityananda, SGPGI Director RK Dhiman etc. were present.
