England defeated Nepal by four runs in a thrilling match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. However, the way Nepal showed courage and fought till the last ball was praiseworthy. Many veteran players of the cricket world praised Nepal and appreciated its excellent efforts.
Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh wrote on Instagram Story, “So much respect for Nepal. Faced one of the best teams in the world, fought till the last ball and showed what faith and heart can do. That’s how teams grow and become champions. The cricket world is watching!”

In this match, England defeated Nepal by four runs. For England, Jacob Bethell and Harry Brook each scored half-centuries, while Jos Buttler overtook Mahela Jayawardene as the third-highest run-scorer in T20 World Cup history.
For Nepal, Rohit Paudel and Deependra Singh Airi played a brilliant partnership, but England’s bowlers kept Nepal a little short of the target by taking wickets at the required junctures.
England batted first and were out after scoring 184 runs. Jacob Bethel scored 55 runs on 34 balls and Harry Brook scored 53 runs on 32 balls.

Captain Rohit Paudel and Deependra Singh Airey put pressure on the England bowlers, but Sam Curran dismissed Airey in the 15th over. After this, Nepal lost some important partnerships at the score of 125/3.
Eventually, Lokesh Bam played an unbeaten inning of 39 runs off 20 balls, but Nepal had to end the match at 180/6. In this exciting match, England won by 4 runs.
