England captain Harry Brook has won the toss and elected to bat first against Nepal in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
“We will bat first as the pitch will play well in the first innings, and hopefully we can defend the total in the second. We are going in with two pacers. We are playing well as a side, and winning in Sri Lanka gave us confidence. You can’t take any side for granted,” Harry Brook said.
Nepal skipper Rohit Paudel would have bowled first had he won the toss.
“We wanted to bowl first, looking at the conditions. Chasing is a good option. We love slow tracks as it helps the spinners. It is a used wicket. Playing all the games in Mumbai is an advantage for me,” he said.
