Delhi: Former veteran batsman of the Indian cricket team, Yuvraj Singh has described Team India's strong batsman Virat Kohli as 'the best batsman of this generation'. During a conversation with the International Cricket Council (ICC), he expressed his opinion about Kohli.
Yuvraj said in a conversation with ICC, “He has definitely broken all the records in this era. I think he is the best batsman of this generation across all formats and I think he is someone who needs a World Cup medal. He has a medal. I am sure he is not satisfied with one medal. He definitely deserves it.”
Yuvraj further said, “He understands his game very well. He knows that if he stays till the end, he will win the match for India and he has done that on some big occasions. Also against Australia in Mohali. He knows how to bat in these conditions, knows which bowler to attack, which bowler to take singles, when to attack again, handle pressure and knows when to change his game.”
