Smriti Mandhana was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC), which took place at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Thursday.
The RCB skipper scored a blistering 41-ball 87, which included 12 fours and three sixes, to help her side chase down 204 and beat the Capitals by six wickets.

She combined with Georgia Voll to add 165 runs for the second wicket, powering the 2024 champion to the highest successful chase in WPL history.
Her highest score this season was 96, which came against the Capitals earlier in January.
The left-handed batter also finished with the most runs in 2026 to claim the Orange Cap, scoring 377 in nine innings, striking at over 150 and averaging 53.86.
