Radha Yadav hit the winning runs for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to seal the side’s second Women’s Premier League (WPL) title against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Vadodara on Thursday.
In a dramatic finish, with four needed off three balls, Radha lofted Shree Charani over extra cover to take RCB past a record 204-run target.

As she played the shot, the broadcast showed the bails coming off at the striker’s end. However, Radha was not given hit-wicket after replays showed DC wicketkeeper Lizelle Lee had dislodged the bails with her gloves.
The confusion was echoed by Shreyanka Patil after the game, with the all-rounder revealing that players in the dugout were unsure if RCB had won until head coach Malolan Rangarajan confirmed the verdict.
Earlier, Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll set up the chase with a 165-run partnership for the second wicket, recovering from the early dismissal of the in-form Grace Harris.
