India has won the Under-19 World Cup for the sixth time. The team achieved a 100-run victory over England on Friday. The Indian team won the toss and chose to bat at Harare Sports Club. The team scored 411 runs for 9 wickets in 50 overs.

14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 175 runs on 80 balls. Of these, 150 runs were scored from boundaries. Vaibhav played with a strike rate of 218.75 and hit 15 fours and 15 sixes in the innings. Captain Ayush Mhatre played an inning of 53 runs. For England, Sebastian Morgan and Alex Green took 2-2 wickets.

The English team, which was chasing the target of 412 runs, was all out for 311 runs in 40.2 overs. RS Ambareesh took 3 wickets. Deepesh Devendran and Kanishk Chauhan got 2-2 wickets. Caleb Faulkner of England scored 115 runs on 67 balls. Opener Ben Dawkins played an inning of 66 runs on 56 balls.
