India Under-19 clinched the Under-19 World Cup 2026 title after defeating England Under-19 by 100 runs in the final on February 6 at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. With this victory, India lifted the U19 World Cup trophy for a record sixth time.
Batting first, India U19 posted a massive total of 411/9 in their allotted 50 overs. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi starred with a sensational knock of 175 runs, while captain Ayush Mhatre played a crucial supporting role, scoring 53. For England U19, James Minto was the standout bowler, picking up 3/63.
In response, England U19 were bowled out for 311 in 40.2 overs despite fighting knocks from Ben Dawkins, who scored 66, and Caleb Falconer, who top-scored with a brilliant 115.
