U-19 World Cup 2026: With the help of Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s explosive batting, India U19 set a huge target of 412 runs in front of England U19 in the final of ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026. Suryavanshi scored 175 runs in just 80 balls to take his team to the score of 411/9.

Batting first, India started with the opening pair of Aaron George and Suryavanshi. George hit a four in the first over, while Suryavanshi hit her first boundary against Green. However, Green soon dismissed George. After this, captain Ayush Mhatre supported Suryavanshi and both batted well.

Suryavanshi quickly increased India’s score by hitting boundaries at regular intervals. India scored 100 runs in the 14th over and Suryavanshi completed her fifty by hitting two consecutive sixes against Ahmed. After this, Suryavanshi continued batting brilliantly and completed her century in the 20th over. He scored this century in just 55 balls. Suryavanshi hit 15 fours and 15 sixes in his innings.

This inning of Suryavanshi also proved to be the fastest inning of 150 runs in the history of the tournament, which he completed in 71 balls. Suryavanshi was dismissed in the 26th over, but his innings kept India in a strong position.

After this, Trivedi (32 runs on 36 balls) and Vihaan Malhotra (30 runs on 36 balls) also contributed. Abhigyan Kundu scored 40 runs in 31 balls, while Kanishk Chauhan scored unbeaten 37 runs in 20 balls to take India to the 400-run mark. India scored 411/9 runs in 50 overs.

In bowling, Minto took three wickets for England, while Green and Morgan took two wickets each. Now England U19 will have to achieve a record target of 412 runs to win the title, while India U19 is all set to win the sixth U19 World Cup trophy.
