Severe cold and dense fog in North India, complete weather update from Delhi-NCR to Rajasthan

India More than half of the states are experiencing very good winters right now. Especially in North India, the nights have become very cold and there is a lot of fog in the morning, due to which visibility reduces and people face problems. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will not show much change in the coming few days, it will remain stable. There may be light rain in the higher reaches of the Himalayas and snowfall at some places, which is normal for hilly areas.

There is dense fog in the country’s capital Delhi and its surrounding NCR areas (like Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad etc.) since this morning. The visible distance on the roads had reduced significantly in the morning, due to which one has to be careful while driving. The Meteorological Department says that today the maximum temperature here will be around 20 to 22 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be between 8 to 10 degrees. This will maintain the feeling of cold. The wind will blow lightly and the level of humidity in the air will be very high, due to which the cold will feel even more severe, especially in the morning and evening. The temperature is expected to remain around the normal level for the next 4-5 days, that is, there will be no major change.

Today’s weather in Uttar Pradesh

The weather in Uttar Pradesh will be quite clear this morning, but there may be light mist or fog in the initial hours, which will not last long. The weather will remain dry during the day, that is, there will not be much rain, although there is a slight possibility of very light rain at some places. The maximum temperature will be around 22 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 11 degrees. The humidity level in the air will be around 76%, due to which cold will be felt. Overall the day will be a normal winter.

Today’s weather in Rajasthan

People of Rajasthan may get some relief in the coming days as the minimum temperature here is expected to increase gradually. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the state for the next 3-4 days, that is, there will be no rain. There may be partly cloudy sky in some areas. Especially in some areas of Bharatpur division, moderate to dense fog may occur in the morning, due to which caution will have to be taken on the roads. According to IMD, there will be a partial increase in the minimum temperature in most parts of the state, due to which the winter will be slightly milder. But from the night of 8 February, a new western disturbance may affect the north-west areas, causing a change in the weather.

Weather in Tamil Nadu

The weather in Tamil Nadu will remain slightly variable for the next 2 days, that is, it will show different colours. Light cold will be felt here, there will be fog or mist at some places in the morning and light rain may also occur in some areas. The Meteorological Department has said that moderate level fog may occur in the western and north-western districts of the state in the morning. The effect of fog will be especially severe in hilly and interior areas like Nilgiri, Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Tirupattur, Vellore and Ranipet districts. Visibility may be reduced due to fog, due to which drivers driving on highways and valley roads should be careful. The administration has also advised people to take precautions while traveling in the morning. The rain will not be very heavy, but areas which have been dry for a long time may get some relief.
