With this brilliant innings, Smriti Mandhana also made the record of becoming the first and highest run-scorer batsman to do so for RCB by completing 1000 runs in the Women’s Premier League. Apart from this, she became the fifth player in the league history to complete 1000 runs overall. Earlier, only Nat Sciver Brunt (1348 runs), Meg Lanning (1200 runs), Harmanpreet Kaur (1193 runs), and Shefali Verma (1104 runs) had achieved this feat.
