IND vs SA, T20 World Cup Warm Up 2026: Before the T20 World Cup 2026, Team India played its only warm-up match against South Africa. In this match played at DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai, India gave a crushing defeat to South Africa. India won the toss and batted first and made a big score and then the bowlers also performed well. Now the Indian team will be seen playing its first match in the tournament on February 7, where it will face the USA team.
Batting first in this match, Team India scored 240 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
During this, Ishan Kishan scored 53 runs in just 20 balls, which included 2 fours and 7 sixes. Abhishek Sharma also retired hurt after scoring 24 runs in 18 balls. Tilak Verma scored 45 runs in 19 balls and made a strong comeback. Captain Suryakumar Yadav contributed 30 runs on 16 balls. After this, Hardik Pandya played an explosive inning of 30 runs in 10 balls. Akshar Patel also remained at the crease after scoring unbeaten 35 runs. Rinku Singh added 16 runs on 13 balls. Overall, almost all the batsmen from India batted strongly.At the same time, the Indian batsmen kept the South African bowlers under complete pressure. Enrique Norkhia proved to be the most expensive, he gave 57 runs in 3 overs, while Kagiso Rabada gave away 44 runs. However, Marco Jansson, Corbin Bosh and Kwena Mafaka took one wicket each.

However, Arshdeep Singh, who is also an important bowler of the team, was given a chance to bowl full 4 overs.
