The 2026 Women’s Premier League (WPL) season is nearing its end, with the eliminator and the final coming up in the next few days, set to take place at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.

While Royal Challengers Bengaluru sealed direct qualification ot the final by finishing as table topper, it took the last league-stage fixture to finalise the Eliminator fixture.

Gujarat Giants made it to its second consecutive Playoff after beating Mumbai Indians in the penultimate league match, while Delhi Capitals’ win over UP Warriorz in Sunday’s clash helped it clinch the last spot.

Which two teams are playing the WPL 2026 Eliminator?

With the best-placed team directly entering the final, the second finalist is decided by the winner of the knockout game between the second and third-placed teams.

In 2026, the Eliminator will be played between Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, with the Capitals eyeing their fourth successive final appearance and the Giants, their first.

This will be the GG’s second time playing the knockout game, while DC is featuring in the Eliminator for the first time — the Capitals had entered the final directly in the last three seasons.
