England defeated Sri Lanka by 12 runs in the third T20I to complete a clean sweep in a three-match series. Chasing just 129 runs, the hosts were dismissed for 116 in 19.3 overs, with all-rounder Will Jacks taking three wickets. Jacob Bethell took three wickets in one over. Overall, he dismissed four batters. Kusal Mendis (26) and Pathum Nissanka (23) were the top two contributors for the host nation.

Earlier, Dushmantha Chameera’s five wickets restricted England to 128/6. Sam Curran played a magnificent knock of 58 runs off 48 balls, laced with 6 fours and 1 six. Jos Buttler (25 off 21) and Liam Dawson (14 off 20) were the other two batters who entered the double-digit mark. After winning the first two matches, England dominated the final contest, with bowlers giving their best performances when needed.
