Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Lucknow Super Giants, 57th Match Report: The 57th match of IPL 2024 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants. The toss held before the match was won by the visiting team captain KL Rahul and due to the excellent partnership of Nicholas Puran and Ayush Badoni, Lucknow has set a challenging target of 166 runs in front of Hyderabad. But the opening batsmen of the host team made history by achieving this target in the 10th over itself.

Super Giants scored only 27 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in 6 overs of powerplay. Opener Quinton de Kock was out early after scoring 2 runs and Marcus Stoinis was out after scoring 3 runs. Chasing the target of 166 runs, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma batted in a stormy manner. Both the batsmen scored 107 runs in the first 6 overs of the powerplay while the target was achieved in 9.4 overs. Abhishek Sharma scored 75 runs in 28 balls which included 8 fours and 6 sixes. At the other end, Travis Head scored 89 runs in 30 balls. Head hit 8 fours and 8 sixes during his innings. All the bowlers of Lucknow proved to be ineffective in front of Head and Abhishek.
