Let us tell you that India has included Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal as four spinners in its squad. India believes that the pitches in these two countries will help the spinners and keeping this in mind, the selectors and captain Rohit Sharma have decided to include four spinners in the team. However, only time will tell how right his decision will prove to be. While talking to news agency PTI before the World Cup, Walsh gave his reaction on the Indian team.

He said, “I am not surprised by India selecting four spinners, rather it seems like a strength to me. West Indies have also selected three spinners in their squad. India can use its bowlers in different situations. Apart from this, after the spin bowlers, they have an excellent fast bowling unit, which provides a very good balance to their team.

Walsh further said that “India has very quality fast bowlers and most of the teams also have similar bowling line-ups. Therefore this will be a very competitive tournament. Almost all teams have excellent pacers and excellent fast bowlers. The batsmen may probably dominate this tournament. However, it is very difficult to predict who will win this tournament and which bowler will perform best.”
