Hurt by being called ‘bandariya’ in Lucknow, model wife commits suicide, joke became reason for death

Lucknow: A heart-wrenching news has come out from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, where a word said jokingly took the life of a model. The model, who was very sensitive about her looks, was so displeased with her husband jokingly calling her a ‘monkey’ that she ended her life. After this incident, there is an uproar in the family and everyone is stunned as to how a joke can lead to someone’s death.

The family had returned happily, then…

The matter is of Indiranagar police station area. Model Tannu Singh lived here with her husband Rahul Singh. On Wednesday evening the entire family had returned from a relative’s place in Sitapur. The atmosphere was very pleasant and everyone was sitting together laughing and joking. During this conversation, husband Rahul jokingly called his wife Tannu ‘Bandaria’.

A joke and life closed in a room

This statement of her husband pierced model Tannu like an arrow. She was so hurt by this joke that she immediately went to her room in anger. The family members thought that this was a minor everyday resentment and that she would come to terms with it after some time. That’s why no one thought it right to tease him too much. After about an hour, when Tannu was called for dinner and there was no response from inside, the family was shocked. When he went into the room, he saw that the ground had slipped beneath his feet.

Tannu was very serious about looks

Tannu’s sister Anjali tearfully told that her sister was very serious and sensitive about her career and looks. Perhaps this is the reason why she could not tolerate this joke of her husband and took such a dreadful step. Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. According to Inspector Sunil Kumar Tiwari, in the initial investigation it seems to be a case of suicide after being hurt by a joke. However, the police is investigating the matter thoroughly from every angle.
