The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced the Indian women’s ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming tour of Australia.

Off-spinner Shreyanka Patil and batter Bharti Fulmali returned to the T20I squad, while wicketkeeper G. Kamalini and left-arm spinner Vaishnavi Sharma were initially handed maiden ODI call-ups. However, Kamalini has since been ruled out of the tour due to injury, with the selectors naming Uma Chetry as her replacement in both the ODI and T20I squads.

All-rounder Kashvee Gautam was also added to the 15-member ODI squad, while pacer Arundhati Reddy and left-arm spinner Radha Yadav were left out. Harleen Deol, who was part of the ODI set-up, was dropped from the 16-member T20I squad.

Both squads will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, with Smriti Mandhana named as her deputy.

India will play three T20Is and as many ODIs on the white-ball tour between February 15 and March 1, with a one-off Test scheduled from March 6 to 9 in Perth.
