Delhi: Former Australian cricket team's veteran opener Matthew Hayden has praised Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain and strong wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson, who is winning the hearts of fans with his batting in the current edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). Samson played a brilliant inning of 86 runs for Rajasthan Royals in the 56th match of the 17th season played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Tuesday, but his team lost the match by 20 runs. 52-year-old Matthew Hayden said, “Sanju Samson was batting like a dream. He scored 86 runs in 46 balls. He has proved his ability time and again. He has been a master blaster throughout the tournament, handling both spin and fast bowling efficiently.”
