India Women squad for Australia Tour — Harmanpreet named captain; Uma Chetry replaces Kamalini

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Saturday, announced India women’s Test squad for the Australia Tour, set to begin next month.

India, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, will play three ODIs, as many T20Is and a one-off Test against Australia in a tour scheduled between February 15 and March 9, 2026.

The BCCI said that wicket-keeper G. Kamalini was ruled out of tour, with Uma Chetry replacing her in India’s T20Is and ODI squads.

Pratika Rawal, who was part of India’s World Cup-winning campaign before picking up an injury, has been included in the Test squad as well.

India’s Women’s Test squad:

Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Smriti Mandhana (VC), Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Amanjot Kaur, Richa Ghosh (WK), Uma Chetry (WK), Pratika Rawal, Harleen Deol, Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh Thakur, Sneh Rana, Kranti Gaud, Vaishnavi Sharma, Sayali Satghare.
