The momentum of Delhi Capitals, which seemed to be getting back into shape in the Women's Premier League 2026 season, got hit. In this match, one of the most exciting and dramatic matches of WPL 2026, Delhi had to face defeat by just 3 runs in the last over at the hands of Gujarat Giants. Gujarat stopped Delhi from reaching the target due to the amazing performance of star all-rounder Sophie Devine in the last over. Gujarat had scored 174 runs in this match but Delhi could reach only 171 runs.
