Delhi: : Team India has suffered a major setback before the last 2 matches of the 5-match T20 series being played against New Zealand. Indian cricket team’s young match-winning batsman Tilak Verma will also be out of the fourth and fifth matches of this T20 International series.

Tilak Verma will also be out of the last 2 matches against New Zealand

Tilak Verma, who was suffering from injury for some time, was out of the first 3 matches of the T20 series being held against New Zealand, after which now a big update has come out and he will remain away from the remaining matches of the series. However, the best thing is that Tilak Verma has been declared completely fit for the World Cup.

Shreyas Iyer was included in this series against New Zealand in place of Tilak Verma, now Iyer will remain with the team in the remaining matches also. Ishan Kishan has been given a chance at number-3 in place of Tilak and he has grabbed this opportunity with both hands in the series so far.

Declared fit for World Cup, will join the team on 3 February

T20 World Cup is starting from 7th February and Tilak Verma will join the Team India camp on 3rd February. Tilak Verma is fit for the last 2 matches of the New Zealand series, but keeping the World Cup in mind, the team management does not want to take any risk.
