Tilak Varma- Shryas Iyer: Neither Tilak Verma will come to Team India for the T20 series against New Zealand nor will Shreyas Iyer leave the team. Shreyas Iyer was replaced by Tilak Verma in the T20 series against New Zealand. Tilak Verma was injured during a Vijay Hazare Trophy match, after which he had to undergo testicular torsion surgery. The surgery was successful but due to that, Tilak Verma had to be ruled out of the first 3 matches of the T20 series against New Zealand and Shreyas Iyer was included in the team in his place.

Delay in return of Tilak Verma, Iyer's fun

Earlier the news was that Tilak Verma will be out of the first 3 T20 only. But, now the news is that there is still a delay in his return to Team India. He will not even play in the last 2 matches of the T20 series against New Zealand. Due to this delay in Tilak's return, it also became clear that Shreyas Iyer will also not be released from Team India. He will remain with the team for the last two matches of the series also.
