Delhi: In the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), the match will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Wednesday. This match will be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. However, the shadow of rain is looming over this match. If the entire match is canceled due to rain, both the teams will get equal points.

If the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants is canceled due to rain, then Hyderabad and Lucknow will have 13 points each. Lucknow will benefit the most from this and will come in the top-4, while Hyderabad will also strengthen its position in the top-4.
Apart from this, Delhi Capitals can also benefit a lot. They currently have 12 points and if they win their next match, Delhi will have 14 points. In such a situation, they will overtake these two teams and secure their place in the top-4. If this match is cancelled, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is likely to suffer the biggest loss. They currently have 12 points and are in third place. As soon as the match is cancelled, both Lucknow and Hyderabad will have 13 points each and CSK will again be out of the top-4. However, Chennai team can return to the top-4 by winning its next match.
According to AccuWeather, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at some places from 5 pm on May 8 (Wednesday). There is a 40 percent chance of rain on the match day and the temperature will be around 28 degrees. Humidity will be around 62 percent.
